GAMEPLAY (8 / 10)

Elven Assassin is an endless wave shooter Bow and Arrow game and up to 4 players (4 separate VR Stations connected through internet) may join in one room to fend off waves of orcs, dragons and trolls. As each wave progresses, the harder the game gets (harder to kill mobs, more mobs and more bosses). While defending the castle, the mobs may attempt to attack the players, forcing the players to physically dodge them or get killed. After each game, the player(s) will gain gold to unlock special abilities to aid them in their next game(s). The gameplay is pretty exemplary.

AVG. PLAYTIME (8 / 10)

About 10-15 mins per game. Pretty decent for an endless wave shooter game. As there is unlockable abilities and online play which gives Elven Assassin good replayability.

PLAY AREA (8 / 10)

Requires at least 2m x 1.5m play area space, though the in game play area does not synchronize with the set play area, even for room scale. A reasonable play area space required for this game.

GRAPHICS (8 / 10)

Graphics are realistic, there is still some room for improvement in terms of sound and graphics.

While not really an established VR game, Elven Assassin is a good VR experience choice even with its less sophisticated background. It’s easy to learn, great for multiplayer and team bonding, events and it received very positive feedback on Steam. There could still be room for improvement in how engaging it can be, but nonetheless, a very decent VR game to play.
